Work Pass Application Procedures in General
Based on MOM timeline

Submission of application by your employer or employment agency (EA).

Upon approval by MOM, the EA will receive an In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter. It serves as the entry pass to travel to Singapore.

Upon arrival, the EA will complete the formalities and arrange for the issuance of the work pass via EP Online.

Once the work pass is issued, a notification letter is provided.

Registration at the Employment Pass Service Centre (EPSC) and, after four days, the pass card is ready for collection.
Note: Processing times for work pass applications are subject to change, depending on complexity, but generally take around 3 to 8 weeks for the initial approval by MOM.
